-ASSISTANCE TO MORTGAGORS.

• GREYMOUTH, Thursday. ' •A resolution advocating that in cases of distress arising from the recent, epidemic, where & mortgage is held in private hands, the Government should give facilities to assist mortgagors to retain their homes, and, if desired, transfer the mortgage to more favourable terms, was passed by the Cobden Ratepayers' Association.
