RETURNING SOLDIERS.

DRAFT EXPECTED AT AUCKLAND.

A steamer with draft No. 199 on board is expected to reach Auckland shortly. If the vessel has a clean mil of health she will be brought alongside the wharf, where medical, boarding will be carried out. If infectious disease is found to exist among tho men, the draft, comprising 800 men, will be takon to Motuihi Island, where a camp lias been erected. Should tho ship bo free of infectious disease the Southern portion of the draft will go South on the transport. If quarantine is necessary, the Y.M.C.A. will erect a tent, and the Ministering Committee of tho Patriotic Association will provide comforts for the men.
