Dec. 11The ex-Kaiser, in response to an invitation from the Amerogen correspondent of the Daily Express, through Count Bentinck, sent the following message: "Tell the correspondent that if there is a possibility of my becoming a defendant, I prefer deferring .1 statement until then. I do not desire to compromise any member of the Government existing at the outbreak of the war."
