Tho conclusions reached by the inter-Allied Conference wore sub* mitted this morning to- the Imperial War Council for endorsement before adoption as agreed items of policy to be pursued at the Peace Conference. The Prime Ministers of Canada, Newfoundland, Australia, and other Ministers not participating in the inter-Allied Conference attended this meeting, which lasted a half-hour, after which the inter-Allied Conference deliberated at length, when the War Council was called in to attend a joint sitting. This lasted an hour, and at tho conclusion of the conference it was emphatically declared that the Allies absolutely agreed and had the backing of representatives of the entire British Empire. It was confidently anticipated that French and Italian opinion would support the conclusions of the conference.
