HOUSE IN WELLESLEY ST. '

PARTIAL DESTRUCTION. . The Fire Brigade received a call shortly after two o'clock this morning to a house in'Wellesley Street West, occupied by Mrs. T. W. Thompson. Tho alarm was given by a returned soldier, who was passing, and Mrs. Thompson, with her three children, escaped in night attire. The fire originated near the chimney, and the kitchen and adjoining room were destroyed. The tw"o front rooms were practically untouched.
