MR. WILSON'S CONFIDENCE. A. and N.Z. WASHINGTON, Nov. 18.
Mr. Woodrow Wilson has issued a proclamation asking Americans to observe Thursday, November 28, as a day of thanksgiving and prayer. -„■ The President added:" This year we have special cause to rejoice because God in His good pleasure has given us peace. It has come not as a mere cessation of arms, but as a great" triumph. Complete victory has brought us the confident promise of a new day, in which justice shall replace force and jealous intrigue among the nations."
