RELEASED PRISONERS PASS AMERICAN LINES.

EVIDENCE OF CRUEL TREATMENT BY GERMANS. Australian and N.Z. (Received 10.80 p.m.) WASHINGTON, Nov. 16. The correspondent of the New York Times in France says that 15,000 released prisoners of war passed through the American lines north-west of Verdun. The men were mostly French, but there were a few Americans. All showed the effects of being overworked and of lacking sufficient clothing and food.
