PRIVATELY-OWNED SHIPS.
GOVERNMENT CONTROL. TENTATIVE CONTINUANCE. A. and N.Z. LONDON. Nov. 13. The Shipping Controller announces that the Government control of merchant shipping will not continue after the war longer than is necessary to provide for tho extraordinary conditions arising out of the war. Privately owned ships will bo released as soon as tonnage is available. It is considered sufficient to provide essentia! national shipping services.
