The Island steamer Atua arrived from Fiji at an early hour yesterday, and anchored in the stream. She berthed at the Queen's Wharf at 7 a.m., and landed her passengers, mails, and fruit cargo. She went to Chelsea shortly after mid-day to put out her sugar cargo. Her departure for Sydney has boon fixed for noon on Saturday. The Richardson steamer Mako ii delayed at papier, owing to an outbreak of influents on board. Eight of her _ crew nave been taken to the hospital suiferins with the complaint* Owing l to the' vessel haying to go into quarantine and be fumigated, she will not leave Napier until next Monday. The Kaknpo is expeoted to complete disjhargo oJ her coal cargo at the Hobaon Wharf, and tail foy West port this evening. The lCokiri, which is loading transhipment® and general cargo at Wellington, has been delayed by heavy rain. An effort is being mide to complete loading, to that she may soil for Auckland to-day. If this l is done, she should arrive here on Tuesday. The Arahura left Gisborne for Auckland at mid-day yesterday, and is due hero about 10 »-m. to-day. She will berth at the Queen s wharf.
