A large number of lantern slides conveyed a vivid idea of the nature of the country New Zealand soldiers have been fighting over, both at Gallipoli and on the western front. Mr. Blamirea, who left New Zealand with the .uain Body, being attached to the Mounted Rifles, described the early incidents of the Gallipoli campaign, including some of the , ' naval operations in the Dardanelles.
