AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION. He annual meeting of delegates to the Auckland Bowing Association, was held *». the- Amateur Spoita Ciubrooms last evening.] Hr \V. G. Mason presided. The balance-! sheet snowed the association to be in n sound financial position. Beferenee was made to i the fact that many New Zealand oarsmen! had worthily represented their clubs at the. service regattas in England— the New Zealand champion scalier, D. 0. Hadfield, of the Waitemata Boating Club, who hid defeated, among others, W: D. Kenneor, Olympic champion. It was also mentioned ; as a matter for congratulation that very tew oarsmen had been rejected as unfit for active \ service. The meeting expressed satisfaction with the work of the executive-. The following officers were President, Mr. W. 6 Mason: residents, Messrs. (J. H. \ B?«ton and A. I. Farmer: secretary, Mr. E. treasurer, Mr. A..M. Wilson: executive, Messrs.
