CAPTURE OF ROULERS BY THE BELGIANS REPORTED.
Australian and N.Z. Cabin Automation. LONDON, Sept. 80, The Daily News reports that Rontars has been captured by the Belgians, while the United Press reportu .that it has received the same , information from authoritative sources. The British have captured Gheluwe, nine miles south-east of Ypres, and are nearing Menin, two miles further to the south-east. It is believed that Lille is endangered.
Another report states that the British and Belgians have advanced a total distance of eight-miles, and now threaten Eoulerß, 13 miles due east of the old line and 12 miles north-east of Ypres. The Belgians have captured 300 guns.
