WOMEN'S TEMPERANCE UNION
A meeting of the Auckland Women's Temperance Union was held on Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Cook presided. Mrs. Rapier, of Edinburgh, gave an address on women's work in Scotland carried on by the British Women's Temperancp' Union. She stated that the work of Women was needed now more than ever, and she urged the necessity for women to prepare them' selves to do the work effectively.
