GERMANY'S COLONIES.
NEED FOR RETENTION URGED. [BY TELEGRAPH.—Pit ESS ASSOCIATION.]
CHKISTCHURCH, Monday. A meeting of the Canterbury branch of the Royal Colonial Institute adopted a resolution forwarded by the council of the London Institute to the effect that, in the interests of the Empire and of the native races concerned, none of the former German possessions should be restored to Germany.
