Jordan, chief clerk at the Auckland branch of tho Public Trust Office, has been promoted to the position of assistant local Deputy-Public Trustee, at Auckland. Mr. Jordan, who joined the local branch of the Department as a cadet 15 years ago, after eight voars' mvice was promoted chief clerk 'at Christchurch, and three years ago was transferred back to Auckland. Mr. Jordan was drawn in a recent ballot and classified I C2.
