MANGERE WATER SUPPLY.

«> EXTENSION OF THE SYSTEM. A scheme for providing the part of Manure surrounding the Mangere Rill with an extended water supply has been formulated by Mr. F. K. Powell, consulting engineer, and tenders for the work have been called by the Mangere Road j Board. Some of the residents have been | supplied from a small pip laid by the I hoard to the Onehunga Borough mains, ' but this proved inadequate. Water will still be taken from Onehunga but larger mams will be laid, allowing of more connections. There will be about three mileo of reticulation and a concrete reservoir will be constructed in the Mangere Donnin. It is expected that the new work will be completed by next summer.
