INTERNED ALIENS' DUTIES.
OBLIGED TO DO FATIGUE WORK. [by TEI.KT.IurH— PRESS ASSOCIATION'.] WELLINGTON. Monday. The Imperial authorities have replied to the inquiry of the Minister for Defence as to whether enemy alien civilians interned in the Un.ted Kingdom were compelled to do work of any kind except in connection with the cleaning 0! iheir rooms and ordinary fatigue. The reply is to the effect that such internees aie not obliged to do any work other than fatigue duty connected f with their camps. j
