Mr. Elliot has been unable to do any public speaking for some time, owing to throat trouble. Mr. P. V. Frazor. S.M., who has been relieving magistrate at Wellington fur some months past, has returned to Auckland, prior to taking up his position as second magistrate at Wellington for tho duration of the war. On Thursday, M Frazer will preside over a sitting of the Public Service Appeal Board, Post and Telegraph section. While in Aurk'and, Mr. Frazer will assist with the magisterial work, and will leave for Wellington on August 16.
