I Mujliston, cable operator, sine die adj journment being granted. j The appeal of John H. Christie, Onei hunga. adjourned in order that he might i consult a specialist in regard to defective «sight, was set down for further hear- ! ing on August 27, so that application for I financial assistance might be made. William Barrett, Ramarama, said he had been unable to dispose of his farm, upon which he was the only man working. The place would not pay a manager. Although he had made efforts to sell it, ■ he had not even received an offer. Sine die adjournment was granted. i The case of Robert Allen, Taraaki (Mr. Mahoney), was reconsidered, adjournment j previously having been {ranted in order I to ascertain, if a brother classed C2, now ; occupied as a camp-cook, could return 1 home to take over his brother'.* farm ; work. Major Conlan stated that he had I telegraphed to the camp commandant, but had received no reply. Adjournment until August 29 was granted, so that the father might make a formal application for release. The appeal of William H. Patterson, slaughterman, was supported by the secretary of the Auckland Slaughtermen's Union, exemption sine die being ! granted on the ground of occupation. : The appeal of Joseph Sterling, store- ■ keeper. Matakohe, was adjourned until I September 1, to obtAin further evidence. j Albert J. Hanigan.
