EGG-LAYING COMPETITION.
: RESULTS OF FOURTEENTH WEEK. i Tire fourteenth week of the second egglayinff competition for fowls at Albany, under the control of the Auckland Poultrykeepers' Association, concluded on Saturday. The severe climntio conditions are seriously affecting the egg production from the lfeht breeds, 14 pens of which are in a slight moult. Three pens in the heavy breeds are also citing feathers. For the week 514 eggs were gathered— great reduction in the numbers laid a few weeks ago. The leading scores are:— Light Breeds.— Leghorns: Miss P. Heigliway, Mount Albert, 7.
