LOCAL OPERATION YIELDS OVER 200 PRISONERS. TWELVE ENEMY AEROPLANES DESTROYED ON SATURDAY. Australian and N.Z. and Renter. (Reed. 10.15 p.m.) LONDON, July 14. Eiir Douglas Haig reports: We carried out a successful local operation early on Sunday morning. English. troops advanced the line east of Dickebusch Lake, south of Ypres, taking over 260 prisoners. We destroyed 12 aeroplanes on Saturday, and drove down four out of control. Three of ours are missing. We dropped 4$ tons of bombs in the daytime, and over 1100 bombs, weighing 19 tons, at night time on enemy camps, railway lines, trains and billets, All our night fliers returned. i
An earlier report stated': Hostile artillery is active north of Albert, west of Kemmel Hill, and south and south-west of Ypres. Our guns are active at a number of points.
