GREAT BANKING COMBINE
A. and N.Z. LONDON, July 14. The Treasury has sanctioned the amalgamation of the London Joint Stook Bank with the London City and Midland Bank. The combined deposits total nearly three hundred millions, and make the new bank by far the largest banking institution in Britain,
