TERRIBLE WANT PREVAILS Renter AMSTERDAM. July 1The Jewish Correspondence Bureau publishes a letter describing terrible famine conditions in Northern Palestine. Prices of foodstuffs are. extortionate. The people eat grass growing on graves. Hundreds of orphans are wandering famished and naked. Many people are dying of hunger in the streets.
