Drßivo May 45 returned officers were gazetted out of the Expeditionary Force, 1227 non-commissioned officers and men were discharged, and 75 of all ranks returned to duty.
At the end of May the total number of officers, non-commissioned officers and men returned to New Zealand was 21.262, comprised of Main Body and reinforcements, 19,556, and Samoan Contingent, 1706.
