VOLUNTARY ENLISTMENTS.
NOW OPEN TO CLASS T) MKN
Voixntabt enlistment is now open for youths of 19 and 20 years, and for members of Classes R, C, and D of the Second Division. Up to date the enlistment of Class D men has not been allowed.
Balloted men of Classes A and R are invited to volunteer to proceed to camp with the forty-third draft instead of with any later draft to which tliev may be already posted. In no rase will' volunteers be accepted for any draft later than the forty-third.
As arranged on the occasion of the last ballot, Class R may continue to volunteer while the ballot is in progress, but only on the clear understanding that they will nevertheless be drawn in the ballot, and that they will forego their privilege of delay, proceeding to camp with the fortvthird draft, as in the case of other volunteers. It will, of course, be impossible to star their names in the Gazette, but district headquarters will supp'v the press with the names of those men who have volunteered up to noon on Saturday, Mav 18.
