Sib James Allen, Acting- Minister , and Minister for Defence, left for Weilington last evening. During the day he ?3 received several deputations, including one -Vv from returned soldiers. He was also en- % gaged in transacting other Departmental business. The Minister for Lands spent yesterday in the Kaihu Valley, and in the evesing returned to DargaviJle. Mr. Guthrie M will go on to Whangare: to-day, 'and Monday will proceed to Kawakawa. 3
