NEW MATER HOSPITAL.
TO-DAY'S SALE OF WORK. A sale of work in aid of the new wing of the Mater Miseries rdiae Hospital, Mountain Road, will bo opened at the hospital grounds this afternoon, and will J bo continued each afternoon and evening, concluding on Saturday. A number of well-stocked stalls have been erected, and [ music and amusements of all kinds will be provided. A feature of the far will be a basketball competition. Admission to the sale oi work will be free. For the. convenience of visitors a motor-bus will run every evening from the bottom of Mountain Road to the grounds.
