RISING SUN PLANT. [B7 TELEGRAM.— CORRESPONDENT.] WAIHI. Wednesday. The new power seliomo of the Rising Sun mine at Owhnroa has now been completed, and rock drills have been installed for mining purposes. The change from the use of bund steel should result in the breaking out of considerably increased quantities of quartz. It is the intention of the management to resume crushing after a reserve of 1000 tons of ore has been accumulated in the slopes. The manager is of opinion that after this quantity of ore has been accumulated ho will be in a position to keep up a steady supply to the mills. MINE MANAGERS' REPORTS. Kuranui: A distance of 10ft of the Magazine level has been cleaned out. A fall is retarding progress. Waihi Extended: The cast crosscut has been advanced 10ft. The amount of water issuing from tbe face indicates the proximity of a lode formation or other change
