DIVISIONAL CONGRESS. j; TnE meetings of the Divisional Congress of I ( the Salvation Army were continued on .« Saturday, when the local officers were i entertained at tea, and were afterwards i addressed by Commissioner Hoddcr. A public meeting was held at the Albert ! < Street Hall in the evening, when there , was a large congregation. Addresses ] were delivered by the commissioner and \ Colonel Mclnness. J Yesterday being Congress Sunday, there ' i were large attendances at all the 'meet-' ' ings. At the morning meeting, held in the I , Army Hall, Albert Street, Commissioner and Mrs. Hoddcr delivered addresses. The j congregational singing was a feature, and | the massed Salvation Army bands from i the city and suburbs rendered choice; musical items. In the afternoon a meet- 1 ing was held in the Town Hall, at which j | several leading officers gave short ad-1 dresses, reminiscent of the early days of; Salvation Army work, in both the Old Country and the Dominion. The girl* ; from the Orange Home sang well, as also . did the Newton Life-saving Guards Iroop.. The City Army Band gave a selection,]' and the 'singing of the City and Newton Songster Brigades was greatly enjoyed. j Commissioner Hodder gave a brief ad-1 dress.
