RENALL. ' Privato R. P. Renall, M.M.. son of Mr. ' J A. Kenall, of Kohekoho, near Waiuku, has been killed in action >n Palestine. Private Renall was a member of the Auckland Mounted Rifles, and left New Zealand with the sixth reinforcements. After serving for a short while on Gnllipoli, he was quartered in Egypt. Ho was awarded tho military medal lor his gallant services during the attack resulting in the capture of Jaffa by the British forces. He belonged to a mounted machine gun section and, in the courso of ono engagement the whole of the , members of tho section, with the exception of himself, were either killed or woiAnded. , Privato Renall kept a party of the enemy at ' boy until reinforcements arrived. Private ' Ronall's brother, Alfred, is lit present serv- j ir.g in France. Ho was a member of the twenty-eighth reinforcements. I Private F. 0. Curnick, of the twenty-third reinforcement, who has been roported ' wounded, is a son of Mrs. M. Gurnick. of I | 45, Napier Street, and not of Mrs. M Smith. , as was stated in the casualty list published yesterday. <
