EXCURSION TO MOTUTAPU.
l As excursion to MotuUpu. under the joint | auspices o{ the Women's Mutual Aid Society j and the Auckland Returned Soldiers' AssoI ciation, will take place to-morrow. Special | arrangements hare been made to cater tor the children, among whom over 100 prizes ! will be distributed. A sports programme for returned soldiers and an open handicap will 1 be held, and there will also be a baby show. In the latter there will be two classes and a I prize will be given for the champion infant. I Entries for the baby show will be free. Mrs. Von Sturmer. the secretary of the Women's Mutual Aid Society, has received numerous offers of assistance. The sports events will be under the direction of Messrs. G. B. Lethaby, W. A. Knox and A. Thompson. The rrocMds of the outing are to be devoted to the Wounded aid Crippled Soldiers' Fund.
