RECRUITING CONFERENCE. LABOUR PARTICIPATION. A. and N.Z. SYDNEY, April 10, The Labour Council has accepted the invitation to participate in the recruiting conference. NEW FEDERAL POLICY. MELBOURNE. April 10. Much interest is manifested in the policy to be outlined at tho opening of the Federal Parliament to-day. Owing to the indisposition of the Premier, Mr. W. M. Hughes, it is probable that Mr. Joseph Cook will deliver the Speech. ■VICTORIAN WHEAT HARVEST. MELBOURNE, April 10. Tho Victorian wheat harvest for the past season was returned at 37,737,552 bushels, a decrease of 13,424,886 bushels compared with the previous season.
