' £10,033 FROM 6080 TONS. . The Waihi Grand Junction Gold Mining « Company during tho period ended March 23 crushed and treated 6080 tons, for * return of bullion valued at £10,033 8s lOd. Compared with the return for the corresponding period of last year, when 9130 tons yielded £15,070 6s Bd, this shows ft decrease of £5030 19s lOd, The total amount won from the mine to date is £1,671,729 8s lid, and dividends have been paid totalling £240.000. The following cablegram has,been sent to (he head office of the company in London:— "No. 8 level, Empire footw&ll lode, drive eaet: Breaking down from 370 ft to 420 ft. the average valuo for & width of Klin is -10s 44 per tou. From 4!IMt to 470 ft the average value for a total width.of 83in is £2 5s per ton. The drive west hns been advanced 33ft to 320 ft. From 285 ft 'to 305 ft, for a width of 57in, the average value is 6s Id per ton. From Sosft to 320 ft. for a width' of Kin, the value is £116s Id per ton.
