TilE cyclonic storm which devastated Jnnisfail raged for 17 hours. Houses collapsed like packs of cards, this causing most of the deaths. Three hundred destitute women and children are sheltering in the Innisfail Shire Hall. It is estimated that the damage to sugar crops at Innisfail is £450,000. The flood at Halifax is the highest on record. A largo quantity of sugar stored at Babinda has been damaged. MISSIONARY LOSES LIFE. KILLED WITH DAUGHTER. TOWNSVILLE. Mar. 15. During the storm the Rev. Kenny, superintendent of the Hull River Aboriginal Mission Station, and his daughter, were killed, and his wife seriously injured, while the mission buildings were entirely destroyed. Three blacks who took refuge beneath the building were imprisoned, and were dug out injured. The railways in the northern districts are badly disorganised by cyclonic damage and floods.
