£2,641,735 IN WAGES LOST. A. and N.Z. SYDNEY, Mar. 13. The Commonwealth Statistician states that there were altogether during 1917 444 strikes, embracing 173,970 workers, and causing the loss of 4,689,316 working days and a loss in wages of £2,641,735.
