Southerly to easterly breezes have ruled, with (air to cloudy conditions generally, but scattered showers have been reported along tho oast coast of tho North Island. Little change has taken place- in atmospheric pressure, TO-DAY'S FORECAST. Present indications are for moderate to strong easterly winds, backing to northerly northwards of New Plymouth and Castlepoint, and northerlic* prevailing and freshowns elsewhere. Tho weather will bo warmer, but with increasing haze and cloudiness, and a change following shortly. Tho barometer has a falling tendency.
