Christie, inspector of military hospitals, 1; at' Glenalvon, accompanied by Mrs. Christie. Mr. A. Harris, M.P., left last night for Wellington, in order to join the Parliamentary parly that will visit Lake Waikaremoana this week. Mr. George Chirnside, of Werribro Park Victoria, who has visited New Zealand regularly for many years, is troutfishing rt Lake Taupo. Mr. E. D. Moseley, of Christchurch, who was recently appointed to the Magistrates' Bench, has arrived in Auckland. He will preside over the various Courts in the Thames district. Mr. W. J. Napier, president of the Vic. toria League, left last night to attend tho conference of New Zealand branchej of the league, which is to he held at Christchurch on Thursday and Friday. Mr! Napier is to preside at the confer, ence. He was accompanied by Mrs. Napier, who is one of the Auckland dele, gates. Ins Honor Mr. Justice Edwards, who concluded the sittings of the Supremo Court at l'alnierston North on Saturday. had a somewhat serious seizure yesterday morning, and is now confined to his bed, his temperature being very high. Ho intended leaving for Wellington yesterday. His Honor was Cijnpelled to leave the Bench at Wanganui recently owing i 0 a similar attack.
