MILITARY MEDAL WINNER.

SERGEAOT B. W. CHOKER. Sergeant Basil W. Croker, who recently was awarded the Military Medal, is the only son of Mr. P. W. Croker, architect, formerly of Auckland, but now of Tail ranga. Ho enlisted at Thames and went away with the eighth reinforcements, and was transferred to Otago Regiment, and saw service in Egypt, and has been in Franco from the battlo of the Somme. He is 22 years of age.
