RECENT HALIFAX DISASTER.
DOMINION'S DONATION FOR RELIEF [by TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON. Monday. The Prime Minis! has received the following cable message from the Piimc Minister of Canada acknowledging NewZealand's gift of £10.000 for'the relief of sufferers by the Halifax disaster:—" The Government of Canada is deeply grateful for the very substantial gift made by the Government of New Zealand for relief in Halifax. This splendid expression of sympathy will be warmly appreciated by the people both of Halifax and the whole Dominfon."
