SUPREME COURT CASES.
OFFENDERS PUNISHED.

WELLINGTON. Saturday. In the Supreme Court today Mr. Justice Hosking ordered A. T. Boyle and Percy Simmiss, two lads who had been found guilty on a series of chaiges of breaking and entering and theft, to undergo reformative treatment at Invercargill for a period not exceeding three years. Another lad, Joseph Henry Pilse, 'on six charge* of theft from the' Royal Exchange Insurance Company, was also ofdeied reformative treatment not exceedun' three years. Fred. Emmanuel Simmis, on a charge of stealing a motorcar, was ordered to come up for sentence when railed upon. Andrew Christie Finney, for bigamy, was sentenced to imprisonment until March 30 next. Herbert Stanley Aitkenhead, for forging an entry in a soldier's paybook, was granted probation for 18 mm.ths. He wa« afterwards arrested as a military deserter.
