ASSISTING THE NEEDY.
PUBLIC MEETING TO-NIGHT. A public meeting will be held this even* ing in the Town Hall concert chamber to devise ways and means of assisting the hospital patients' benevolent fund. A committee, headed by Mr. W. G. Bauer, has arranged the various preliminary matters, and it is proposed to inaugurate a campaign in aid of the fund early in' March.
