NEXT STEP TO PEACE.
ATTITUDE OF VATICAN.
LONDON. Jan. 13. TiffE Times correspondent at Rome states that Mr. Wilson's address was read by the Vatican with pleasure, almost jubilation. The Tope realised the justice of America's declaration of war, and regards the address as one that makes peace possible. He is unlikely to take further action, claiming that Mr. Wilson's and Mr. Lloyd George's speeches coincide with his peace note, Therefore the next step rests with the. other belligerents.
