MEETING OF PARLIAMENT.
<» EARLY SESSION POSSIBLE. MR. MASSEY MAY VISIT ENGLAND. [by telegraph.— correspondext.] . WELLINGTON. Thursday. There are indications that it will yet bo necessary for the Prime Minister to go to England again this year. If Mr. Massey should have to go it is more than likely that Parliament will be summoned early to deal with urgent financial business. This session would be a short one, and for general purposes there would hav« to be another session later in the year, after Mr. Massey had returned. One of the questions that may have'to be considered at the early session is ■whether an election should bo held this year. As the law stands, there will be an election at the end of this year, but the reasons for the postponement in the first instance still hold good, and it is possible that the- Government will invito the House to agree to a further extension of its life.
