It is now certain that the town 1 received the full force of the recent' 1 storm. The lighthouse at Flat Top was ! demolished. Practically all trains have ' stopped owing to washaways. The full ' force of the hurricane was felt at Rock- ' hampton, where great damage was done ] and tho town completely isolated, the , flood waters being inches above any j previous record, arid( still rising. A woman, two children, and three men have been diowned. The disturbance is now travelling west, and it is feared that Clermont will again be flooded. All coastal shipping is sheltering.
