A disturbance centred in the. North lias been responsible for unsettled, cloudy and misty conditions, with rain generally. Moderate to strong southerly winds have predominated.
TO-DAY'S FORECAST. Present indications aTe for high, southerly winds northwards of New Plymouth and Ca.stlenoint. and south-easterly elsewhere. Expect further unsettled and cloudy weather, with heavy rain, especially over the North Island and in the north-east districts of the South Island, and snow on the high levels.
