ELECTIONS OF MEMBERS.
Elections . for seats as: representatives of County Councils on various hospital and ; charitable aid boards in the Auckland Province were held yesterday. In the contest for a representative of the combined districts of Franklin County, Pukekohe Borough, and Waiuku town district on the Auckland Hospital and Charitable Aid Board, all the returns, with the exception of Hunua, Papakura, and Karaka ridings, were received last night, with the following result:—Mr. J. 6. Rutherford, 493; J. P. Asher, 467; C. K. Lawrie, 332. The returns in connection with an election of two representatives of the Waitomo County and the Waikato Hospital Board were incomplete last night, but those • received placed * Messrs. Harold Vause and Jas. Boddie at the top of the poll. ' .;V■ : Messrs., W. Baker, 446 votes, W. J. Hall, 400, and R.
