The presentation of two war medals and one for long service, by Colonel Sir Junes Allen, Minister for Defence, also the parade and inspection of senior cadets in the Auckland schools, was witnessed by a large number of people in the Auckland Domain on Monday afternoon. The Minister, after inspecting the cadets, decorated both Corporal C. Lewin and Private A. E. Johnson with the Military Medal and Major John Grant, who is second in command of the King's Empire • Veterans, was decorated with the Colonial Auxiliary Forces' Long Service MedaL
