CONCRETE ROADS.

.SUGGESTED IN THE NORTH. The question of concrete roads was discussed at some length by the committee of the Automobile Association last evening. A copy of a letter written by Mr. H. Wynyard, a member of the committee, to the North Auckland Development Board, was read. The letter set out in full the methods by which arterial roads are constructed in Victoria, and maintained by Government Road Boards. In reply, the Development Board invited two members of the association to discuss the question at the next meeting of the board at Wha- > ngarei. The matter was referred to a Standing Committee set up for the purv pose of gathering data with a view of forming 'a Road-users' Association.
