Balfour, Minister for Foreign Affairs, said thoro appeared to bo no reason at present to add anything to the British acknowledgement of the Pope's peace proposals. Mr. J. King, Liberal member for North Somerset, asked: Is that not a change of policy in view of the statement that the allies were considering a joint reply ? Mr. Balfour did not answer.
