FORECAST OF GREAT ALLIED ADVANCE IN BALKANS,
GERMANY TO BE CUT OFF FROM EASTERN ALLIES. TROOPS FROM GREECE TO COMPLETE STRENGTH. Australian and N.Z.' and Router. (Rood. 6.5 p.m.) WASHINGTON, Sept. 29. The Greek Foreign Office has informed the Embassy that the delay in the mobilisation of the Greek Army is due to the lack of equipment which Britain, France and the United States will furnish. Greece will supply 300,000 men. It is understood that the allies plan to advance to Sofia, cut off Germany's great 6ourco of supplies from Turkey, neutralise Bulgaria, and force Turkey to conclude a separate peace. The allies have already reached a position of equality in the Balkan situation. The Greek troops will give them enough strength to advance and overcome the enemy. An extensive offensive is probable late in the coming spring.
